About the Online Museum Collection
This site is a work in progress and these records represent a small fraction of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) collection. We are constantly working to expand public access. This site will be updated as we research our objects and improve our records.
The online musum collection is comprised of objects from historic sites and museums administered by the PHMC. The Pennsylvania State Archives, while part of the PHMC, maintains a separate database. Browse records from the State Archives.
Please contact us at email@example.com to share additional information, request more information, or report any errors. To help us better respond to your inquiry, include the Object ID of the record to which you are referring.
If you are interested in donating an object, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
These collections are made available online for private research and personal use. The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission must be credited in all uses of this information. Example: Courtesy of The State Museum of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
